Danish Government Scholarship at the University of Southern Denmark: The University of Southern Denmark is pleased to announce the beginning of applications for the Danish Government Scholarship, sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science. The scholarship offer consists of a full tuition fee waiver and a grant to help cover living costs of up to DKK 3,000 per month before tax.

Admissibility and Selection Criteria:

To be well-thought-out for the Danish Government Scholarship 2021/2022, applicants are to meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants are to note that the best-qualified applicants based on points will be awarded the scholarship. Applicants must confirm that they meet the “entry requirements” for each program.
  • To make sure that your application can be processed, all certifications must be available before the application deadline.
  • Applicants must be willing to abide by the rules and regulations governing the conduct of students at the University of Denmark.

Application Procedures

How-to-Apply: To be measured for the Danish Government Scholarship at the University of Southern Denmark, applicants are to apply for admission into a qualified program of the university for a full-time study program. All secondary documents must be available before the application deadline, to make sure that your requests can be handled appropriately.

The Danish Government Scholarship

In recognition of the significant commitment that international students make to their studies, the University of Southern Denmark presents the Danish Government Scholarship to selected applicants. This scholarship is financed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science.

The scholarship consists of two components: a grant to aid with living expenses totaling DKK 3000 per month before taxes and a full tuition fee waiver.

Who can get the scholarship?

To be qualified for the scholarship, you must be a non-EU/EEA citizen enrolling in one of the following Master’s programs in Snderborg with a start date in September:

The most qualified applicants among those who are eligible will get the scholarships. The scholarship will be automatically considered for all qualified students who get an offer of a study spot. No additional application is required.

The Faculty of Engineering has the ability to provide scholarships to other Snderborg programs for highly qualified students.

If you are suitable to receive the Danish State Grant, you cannot be considered for the scholarship.

Selection criteria

Based on the grade point average of their Bachelor’s degree, the scholarships are given to the most deserving applicants.

Before the application deadline, all required documentation must be submitted in order for your application to be processed and evaluated for the scholarship.

We need:

  • Grades and units/credits for each subject must be included on the official bachelor’s transcripts and diploma, which must be in English, Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian.
  • The courses listed on your transcripts and their descriptions
  • proof of your ability to speak English.

Application deadline for a Master’s program for non-EU/EEA countries

Your application must have been submitted no later than Feb. 1 to be measured for a scholarship.
